ABSTRAK

Mustard (Brassica rappa L) is a vegetable that has a lot of nutritional content. The farmer does not know the nutrients needed by the mustard to grow and causes decreasing in every harvest. LCN is an organic fertilizer, that was resulting from pineapple liquid waste processed by bioremediation by using some indigenous bacteria. The aim of this research is to find the variation of LCN fertilizer dosage to the growth of mustard, and to know the most effective variation of LCN fertilizer dosage on the growth of mustard, and to know how to apply the result of this research as a source of learning biology for high school students in the form of practical guide with project based learning model .This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) technique with 3 treatments using different variations of LCN fertilizer that are 100 ml, 125 ml, 150 ml and comparison without LCN. The result of this research showed that there is influence of giving LCN fertilizer on the height and wet mustard pakcoy plant and 150 ml dose variation of LCN fertilizer which gives the best effect in the height of mustard plant pakcoy and without LCN (control) which gives the best effect in the number of Mustard pakcoy leaves. The results of the research can be used as the design of biology learning resource for XII grade of Senior high school on Growth and Development subject in the form of a practical guide.
