ABSTRAK

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and job satisfaction of employees work discipline. The problen is how the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction of employees working discipline at the tax office.
The study population inluded all employees of tax office. The variables of the study include work motivation and job satisfaction as independent variables and work discipline as the dependent variable. Data collection methods used were the questionnaire method and the method of documentation. Data analysis methods used is descriptive analysis percentages and multiple regression analysis technique with the help of statistkal programs SPSS version 17.
Based on calculations using multiple regression equation, the results showed that motivation and job satisfaction of employees tax office were high and labor discipline employees including high category as well. Partially affect word motivation towards work discihline employees. Besides job satisfaction also affects partially on work discipline employees. While both, the variables of work motivation and job satisfaction, simultaneous significant effect on employee work discipline.
In this study the authors propose suggestions for improving the leadership of the Tax Office activities that could increase the motivation to work. With regard to satisfaction, should the leadership of the Tax Office is able to provide a conducive working environment. Job satisfaction so that by it self it will grow.
