Human resources can be managed optimally would be beneficial for the development of national development. Basically to create the conditions necessary for a supportive work environment supporting such a good infrastructure as well as education and training, increase skills and is no less important to place employees in accordance with the provision of expertise and motivation by the Executive Board.
This thesis conducts research on the work environment and leadership related to employee performance. The formulation of the problem is whether there is influence of the working environment and kepemimpinansecara individually or jointly to employee performance in the Income Office RegionTulang Bawang Barat District. With the aim to determine the influence of the work environment and leadership on performance.
This type of research used in this research is quantitative research, the independent variable is leadership (X1) and the Working Environment (X2), while the dependent variable is intended to employee performance (Y). Methods of data collection based on its source using primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques with library research and field research include: observation, questionnaires, documentation and interview.
Based on the survey results revealed that there is influence of the work environment and leadership individually or jointly to employee performance in the Income Office RegionTulang Bawang Barat District. This is evidenced in the event of an increase in the work environment and leadership, there will be also an increase in the performance of employees, and vice versa. So in order to increase the performance needs to consider the contribution of the work environment and leadership.
