ABSTRAK

In Indonesia thera are approximately 1300 river is largely a natural river. Problems often occur, associated with thw river and cause the loss of human life in general is the behavior that lead to river flooding.

Those problems can be handled technically, among others, by utilizing technical knowledge of the river in the planning of the river, which represent an effort to leverage the potential of water within the stream. Workers who initially destructive nature can be turned into constructive and beneficial for human life.
